I never truly appreciated how great it was that Ben slept six hours straight every night from the day that we brought him home from the hospital, until now. The longest Chase will ever sleep is about two hours, and he likes being awake in the middle of the night, so... I'm tired. I realize this comes with the territory of being a new mom, but it is still exhausting. Good thing he is really cute. Here are some pictures.

Yeah Naomi spoiled us too--she slept 5-7 hours straight through the night. And malachi was getting up every 2-3 hours. LUCKILY he just went right back to sleep after eating most of the time. But it was VERY tiring. It made me REALLY appreciate how good Jason is with Naomi because I don't know what I would have done if I had to get up with her in the morning after being up all night.... Anyway, I hope that Chase gets to sleeping longer soon. He is sure a cutie. He seems like a pretty good mixture of the two of you.
We've never had great newborn sleepers, so I totally feel for you. I feel like it is especially hard transitioning to 2 kids when you can't "sleep when the baby sleeps" like everyone tells you to do. I guess there's the hope of squeezing in a nap if both kids' naps overlap. But, that is if you are lucky and I'm sure you've thought of all that. Renee is bored out of her mind because we don't go out much these days, so Ben can totally come play at our house anytime if you need a break. I'm being serious because she would totally LOVE it!
I have been spoiled with Tyler so I will probably be looking at you for any tips whenever we have baby #2. I am sure it will transition into a routine for you soon. Chase is a cutie and that blanket looks so warm and fluffy.

What precious little boys! I can't believe how blond Ben's hair is! They're so cute. Fortunately ( i guess) Aubrey never slept well or very long for that matter so I haven't had the luxury, but I guess then I won't be so disappointed if the next one turns out the same. Ok, maybe I will be a little... : )

OOOHHH! So cute! I have just the opposite now, Alex NEVER slept when he was a baby (still doesn't) and Ivy sleeps all the time. All through the night too! It's amazing I love it! Your boys are so darn adorable. Miss you!
