A few weeks ago we called up a few of our friends and we all met down at the beach for hotdogs and smores. It was a gorgeous night and we had a lot of fun. I love this beach and we are blessed enough to live about five minutes away from it. There's a lighthouse, a little park with swings, the ferry takes off from there, and there's a bunch of fire pits. Also there's train tracks that are really close and Ben LOVES seeing the train go by. Just about every other word that comes out of his mouth while we are down there is "Train!" Anyways... here are some of the pictures.

Pretty

Boyd and Ben watching the train go by!!

The Mukilteo Ferry.

The lighthouse

Oh my gosh... my husband is SO Handsome! Don't be jealous. And Ben has ketchup on his chin... he's cute.

This is my friend Tiffany roasting her FIRST hotdog over a fire!! (That's why she's making that face.. I have one of her smiling too, but I liked this better :) What kind of childhood did you have? She must have been a city kid from Chicago. That's her husband Brian with their new little girl Emily :).

It's Lynn and Scott!! With their son Braden who is going to town on his capri sun.

Shelly and Gregg... you look so good :)

Fred with his son Carter (his wife Tammy couldn't make it that night)

Ben with his dad feeding the Seagulls (and I think Ben was throwing rocks too... the birds didn't stick around for too long).

deprived childhood? me? please. Emily doesn't look so happy in that picture...maybe cooking hot dogs over a fire is a form of child punishment. ;) That was a fun day. Thanks for inviting us. :)
Sounds like a great time!! That's awesome that you have a good group of young couples to hang out with!
These pictures are so pretty! I'm jealous that you live by the ocean--what a fun thing to do with your friends.
I thought Chicago had famous Chicago-style hot dogs?? Tsk, tsk.
looks like so much fun! How cool to have that beach so close : )
