So... I know the title is strange, but I just finished reading this book and it is a new favorite. It's about the life of the people on Guernsey Island (one of the Channel Islands between France and England) during WWII. But it is one of the best war books that I've ever read because it intermingles great characters and stories into the drama of the war. If you get the chance... you should read it. It's great.
Plus... it's one of the first books that I've read in a long time. I remember that I like to read!

I'm glad you posted your review of this book, but I saw that Stephenie Meyer recommended it, but the title just seemed too weird and boring. I didn't give it a second thought until now! So, I'll definitely be putting this on my list of "to read."
I loved this book too! Isola was my favorite character in the book. She was hilarious.
I also loved this book! :) I should have recommended it to you.
I have heard that is great! On my to read list
Yes, yes, yes! I read it recently and right when I finished I saw it on Becca's recommendations. It seems we all love it! Reading is great.
I've heard great things about it, guess I'll put it on my list of books from 2010. I'm always looking for a good book. Thanks Kathryn!
I'm reading this book right now and I love it!
I will have to check that out!
Love your family pic on the couch, who took that?
