The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society

So... I know the title is strange, but I just finished reading this book and it is a new favorite. It's about the life of the people on Guernsey Island (one of the Channel Islands between France and England) during WWII. But it is one of the best war books that I've ever read because it intermingles great characters and stories into the drama of the war. If you get the chance... you should read it. It's great.

Plus... it's one of the first books that I've read in a long time. I remember that I like to read!

I'm glad you posted your review of this book, but I saw that Stephenie Meyer recommended it, but the title just seemed too weird and boring. I didn't give it a second thought until now! So, I'll definitely be putting this on my list of "to read."

I loved this book too! Isola was my favorite character in the book. She was hilarious.
