I'm sitting here watching Chase crawl around our floor exploring everything he can possibly touch. I have no idea why I ever put those DVD's back on the shelf because they are usually back down within a few minutes (or seconds :). I'm a little nervous because I'm realizing that Chase is even more active than Ben was and I thought that Ben was a pretty active kid. There is no way I can change Chase's Diaper without him rolling over and crawling away. I end up pinning him down with my forearm half the time. I can't even say how cute he is though. And it's a good thing too because he is still waking up 2-3 times in the middle of the night. Last night I couldn't go back to sleep after waking up to help him. So I've been up since about 2:45 in the morning. Somehow I'm not completely passed out right now. He is crawling, he can pull himself up to stand, and he's starting to clap.
Ben is pretty dang cute too... I can't stand it. And sorry if you get tired of me saying it all the time, but I figure that everyone feels that same way about their kids and it's okay for everyone brag :). So yeah... Ben is always saying more and more and I love having conversations with him. He loves Chase to death and is always wanting to wake him up whenever he is down for a nap. The other day I took Ben with me somewhere and left Chase with Boyd and the whole time Ben was saying, "I want Daddy and Chase." Hello! enjoy the one on one time with mommy, Ben :).
My favorite thing is to watch Ben and Chase play together. Although it usually ends up with Chase crying, they do have a good time and they laugh at eachother which is always cute.
Anyways... here are some pictures of the little babes. I was thinking of completely skipping over Christmas since I haven't blogged in forever, but there are a few pictures that are way too good to pass up.
Ben's Birthday! I was going through our pictures and I couldn't leave these out.
These were Ben's birthday gifts. We got both of them off of craig's list. The one set up is a playmobile set that he loves and it keeps him entertained forever. And all the wrapped gifts is a huge set of Rescue Hero action figure guys with cars and boats that go with them that I wrapped up individually. It was awesome.
Three years old!

Christmas pictures! These are all out of order... but whatever...
Me and Heather! and Chad and Hadley
Chase with his Nana. Mom... you're looking good :)
Granddaaddy and Chase :)
Ben with his favorite Hadley :)
This picture is classic. Dad with the uncle Eddie hat on riding the tractor.
I love that picture. Mimi doesn't look old enough to be a grandma.
We rode go-carts one day. It was cold, but Ben still liked it.
Ben helping Poppa play the guitar
We had a white Christmas! This is Ben playing in the snow.
Christmas eve in their matching jammies.

Kathryn it was so good to talk to you for a few seconds yesterday. You're right - both Ben and Chase are so stinkin' cute! It's good to hear and update on y'all. Keep us updated often and let us know if you're moving down here a little closer. We'd love it!
Your kids are too cute! We miss you guys!
Yay for the update! Those boys are dang cuties!
Chase looks just like Boyd in the third picture down when he was a kid. Thanks for the update!
Kathryn, your kids really are so adorable! Looks like you guys had a great Christmas. I love your family picture at the top of your blog.... What a great looking family! :)
That Playmobile castle looks awesome! Craigslist is definitely more fun in a large metropolis. But at least I have D.I. :)
I'm glad you're posting! I love seeing your boys, and I agree that they are abnormally adorable.
