When I asked Ben what he wanted for his Birthday... the first thing he said was, "A Lightning McQueen Cake." Wow... I think he remembered going to Davis' Birthday back in Seattle almost a year ago and he had a lightning McQueen Cake. Anyways... he got what he wanted.

One question: Did you make that cake? It looks store-bought and I just want to say how relieved I am. lol I swear, it seems like if you don't actually make your kid's cake, then you're not a good mommy. And I don't think I have the skills...so I'm glad that I'm not alone. haha
Oh yeah... it's store bought. I don't feel like spending the time and I don't really have the best artistic skills to pull off a sweet homemade cake. But yeah... it does kind of seem to be a trend to make awesome homemade cakes for your kid's birthdays (a great trend and cool idea if you can pull it off :).

That cake is great. I can not believe that our boys are 4 years old. I am doing Matthew's birthday party on Saturday, I am getting a cake from the store too, best idea ever.
